Pale ruby. Fine nose of red fruits, typical of Pinot Noir, with well-dosed oak notes. Nice freshness; the fruity taste is ripe and sweet. Medium bodied with good extraction. A fine wine, delicious now and over the next 3 to 5 years.
Light ruby. Delicate nose of small red fruits, a bit uni-dimensional but still attractive. Light body; balance is on the acidic side. Texture is supple with a nice fruity taste, finish is barely firm. A good everyday wine for fans of Pinot Noir.
Floral, citrus, piquant green herb and a whiff of almond on the nose shift to green fruit with a suggestion of ripe pear flavour on the medium-weight palate. Finishes with a distinct touch of bitter almond. Drink soon.
“EHP” identifies rums from the distillery attached to the Enmore Sugar Factory, founded some 200 years ago by Edward Henry Porter (hence EHP). His original wooden Coffey still used for this rum is the only one currently operational in the world today. Intense aromas of orange peel, molasses, crème brûlée, toffee and nutmeg give way to a smooth, silky spirit with subtly sweet sultana/fruitcake nuances and a long, warm, balanced finish.
Light brown, generous foam. Fresh hops and citrus, hints of caramel. Very light and tasty, it goes down easy and finishes on a dry note with just enough bitterness to be refreshing.
Rich, bold and dark with elegant yet grippy tannins; lots of blackberry and dark cherry flavours, cedar and spice with an intriguing edginess, finishing big, but juicy. Such a cool wine. Great with wild game.
Pale yellow. Sharp, citrusy nose with a hint of flint. Vivid acidity throughout, fatty middle palate, ripe fruity taste. Energetic finish. Ready to drink now or over the next couple of years with seafood.
