Mostly Chardonnay, with some oak-fermented Pinot Noir. Clear deep vermilion with lots of bubbles. Faint nose of orange and yeast. Slightly sweet, tastes of McIntosh apples sprinkled with a bit of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice. Drink now.
Balanced, sleek and elegant with depth, richness and finesse, aromas and flavours of brioche, apple, citrus, mineral and spice with a crisp and lively finish.
This is a beautiful Cab Franc from the near-perfect 2012 vintage in Ontario with a rich nose of raspberry, cherry, cassis, currants, integrated herbs and spice. It is defined by its smooth and lush entry in the mouth as the rich array of fruits wash over the palate with perfectly integrated spices following behind.
A zippy and minerally blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano with cherry, strawberry, watermelon and fresh flowers, deliciously juicy and dry, organically farmed and the ideal hanging out, serve with anything wine.
France’s Midi region is a crescent-shaped zone that stretches along the Mediterranean coast from the Spanish border to the mouth of the Rhône River. An ideal climate for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This wine is dense purple in colour; savoury flavours of blackcurrant and blackberry with liquorice and dark chocolate fill the mouth to a finish of dusty tannins.
Yellow straw colour, showing brightly scented lemon citrus with subtle buttery and vanilla notes. Citrus and green apple flavours are backed by refreshing acidity and a lick of mineral on the medium weight palate. Well-made, affordable wine that will serve equally well as an aperitif or to pair with seafood and white meat dishes.
From grapes grown contiguous to Château d’Yquem. Medium gold colour. Typical Sauternes nose of floral and citrus overlaid with noble rot and some vanilla from 18 months' oak aging. Full-bodied on the palate with flavours of pears and white flowers. Will last a long time.
