Inaugural release. Biodynamically and dry farmed, stainless-steel fermented. Lifted apple, stone-fruit and citrus notes followed by a crisp and clean palate buoyed by moderate acidity with some zesty notes through a refreshing end.
Complex aromas of red- and black-berried fruit, entwined with herbal and spice notes and a solid core of ripe strawberry and wild raspberry flavours. Palate-cleansing minerality on the finish, accompanied by subtle spice notes. Pair with marinated sockeye salmon.
This Chardonnay has hit its ‘sweet spot’ and is drinking beautifully right now. Peach, flowers, honey, candied apple, pineapple, vanilla and spice flow out of the glass. The medium body, round texture and lowish acid make for a crowd-pleaser. Pair with halibut topped with a beurre blanc or chicken shish kabobs.
Vibrantly fresh aromas of mineral, crunchy apple and grapefruit, refined but intense with penetrating flavours, a touch of spice, slightly off-dry and bracing acidity to keep everything in balance. A great wine from one of Canada’s Riesling leaders.
Golden-hued and assertive in nose and on palate. Aromas of beeswax, lanolin and citrus grab your attention; then the rich, oily texture, spicy quince flavour and long finish coat your mouth. The lingering waxiness is characteristic of the varietal. A palate-enhancing accompaniment to the cheese board.
Pale straw in colour with a minerally, honeyed grapefruit nose; light-bodied, on the sweet side but elegant with flavours of honey, lime and grapefruit finishing crisply.
Light amber and cloudy with a persistent frothy head, shows emphatic herbal and citrus aromatics with a whiff of orange. Moderate fruity and nutty dry flavours emerge in the mouth and, notwithstanding the strong hop aromatics, it finishes with a relatively easy-going touch of bitterness.
