A meaty Pinot with cherry, violets, field raspberry, bramble bush, light spice and leather notes. On the palate look for black cherry, cedar, liquorice, anise and tobacco delivered on a smooth bed of tannins.
Generous aromas of caramel, coconut and lemon meringue. An elegant palate showcases sleek citrus and sweet pineapple flavours, followed by notes of lemon zest, hazelnut and buttered toast on the finish. Pair with Dungeness crab cakes.
Full ruby. Red fruits, fine herbs and discrete oak leave an impression of youth. Nice freshness in the mouth, velvety; it gains in firmness and finishes with increasing amplitude and great length. Impressive.
Made with floor malted barley and Liberty hops, this blond beer opens with light nutty, malty and yeasty aromas and full-flavoured citrus and malt on the palate. Finishes with characteristic West Coast style heavily hopped bitterness.
Pale yellow. Light nose, fruity and minerally. Nothing complex here but it is tasty, balanced and easily approachable, all signs of a well-made product. Drink soon.
This is the exciting result of a bold decade-long project. Made in the manner of top Vintage Champagne with the classic encépagement. Fewer than 1,000 bottles have been produced. Refined, somewhat austere on the nose, displaying restrained fruit with mineral and bready overtones. There is good weight on the palate, simultaneously expansive and austere in the classic Champagne mode. Subtle citrus fruit character is enhanced by fine mousse, dynamic acidity and delightfully creamy texture.
Heady pear, melon and green notes float above a base of toast in this simple Viognier from Languedoc. Stainless steel has kept the fruit clipped and clean until a warm (nearly 14%) and gingery finish.
