Aromatic grassy herbal and green fruit on the nose, with overtones of tropical fruit and mineral. Lively green fruit flavours emerging on the palate reveal gooseberry and citrus notes with background tropical fruit, backed by chalky mineral and refreshing acidity. An interesting and uncommon blend offering exotic complexity.
Bouquet shows developed vinosity with elegant red fruit and refined spicy notes of cinnamon and clove. Darker fruit emerges on the palate with rich black cherry and blackberry flavours enveloped in a velvety smooth texture. Supported by solid tannic structure, finish is complex and harmoniously integrated.
This 100% estate Chardonnay has a lovely biscuit note on the nose to go with lemon chiffon, fresh citrus, brioche and toasted vanilla. The tiny, vigorous bubbles are persistent in the glass and the sparkler shows bright acidity which gives a lift to the fresh lemon-citrus and green apple flavours.
Up front floral and citrus notes precede a lively lemon-lime palate underpinned by bright acidity before a clean, zesty close.
“Moelleux” means “slightly sweet”. Medium yellow. A muscular, like it or hate it nose of ripe peach and banana overlaid with rosemary and pine. Full bodied with peach, orange and honey flavours, and a hint of retsina. Drink to 2022.
Ruby/garnet. Red fruits and green pepper on the rather shy nose. Firm and full in the mouth, its compact body shows 5 to 7 years’ aging potential. Will improve and become more complex if you’re patient.
Shows an expressive nose of cherry, pepper, cassis and a range of spice and earth notes. It has lovely ripe red and dark fruits on the palate with spice, peppercorns, smoke and earthy/savouriness on the finish.
