A well priced, easy-drinking Pinot. Ruby colour with a candied raspberry nose, medium bodied, fruity, slightly sweet and jammy with enough tannin to give it structure. Easy drinking.
Beautifully expressive with notes of pineapple and citrus, textural, lightly juicy and herbal with a tight core and minerally finish. More expressive at this stage than in previous vintages, but with the same structure and seeming potential for aging expected of this wine. A versatile food wine that can stand up to flavourful dishes and ones that are heavier than you might expect.
Medium-deep cherry red. Nose is a mash of dark berries overlaid by the smell of old wood varnish and leather. Full-bodied, powerful plum flavours balanced with a zingy acidity. Long finish allows full enjoyment.
Deep ruby colour with a nose of red berries, rhubarb and wet earth. Medium-bodied with good fruit expression. A very stylish Pinot with great balance.
Straw yellow. Shy nose with exotic fruit notes, beeswax, honey and a mineral edge. Ripe and rich fruity taste with a great thick, fatty but not heavy texture that remains well balanced. Equally strong finish with a hint of bitterness. This blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, Grenache Blanc and Vermentino has a potential of 5 years in the cellar.
This small but focused Naramata producer impresses right out of the gate. Up-front anise, violet and smoky-earthy hints followed by a supple palate with balanced fruit and oak below a savoury and mineral centre with appealing acidity. Multiple awards.
Blond-coloured with forceful hoppy green herbal intensity on the nose which carries through in the mouth with lively bitter hop flavours and more subdued citrus and creamy malt in the background. Hoppy/herbal notes linger on the palate.
