A mature Pinot ready for drinking. Deep ruby in colour with a cedary, spicy cherry nose; medium-bodied, dry, elegant, lacy, finely balanced with cherry and beetroot flavours. Highly recommended.
From France’s land of sunshine comes this easy-drinking blend which features cassis, plum, dark cherry, herbs, rubber, spice and cocoa. Medium length and ready to pair with pasta or pizza.
A meaty, plummy nose with currants and spice. It’s juicy and round on the palate with cherry, blackberry and currant fruit followed by warm spices and decent acidity.
Fuller bodied and fruitier than most Pinot-/Chardonnay-based bubbles! That said, this is the best SB sparkling wine I have ever tasted from Ontario. Guava, blackcurrant juice, lemon verbena, grapefruit, lime, passion fruit and hints of yeast are present on the nose and palate. Excellent length, fresh acidity and 13.5% alcohol rounds everything out. A must-try!
A super Tuscan Bordeaux-style blend of 45% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv and 15% Petit Verdot. Clove, blackcurrant and vanilla aromas. Ripe red-and-black fruit and cassis flavours. Full-bodied, well-structured and rich with fine tannins. A consideration for beef roasts and/or aging 5 to 10 years.
Ruby/garnet. Red fruits and green pepper on the rather shy nose. Firm and full in the mouth, its compact body shows 5 to 7 years’ aging potential. Will improve and become more complex if you’re patient.
Clear, old gold. Complex, medium-intensity aromas reminiscent of a cup of orange-spice tea sprinkled with rose petals. A classic, full-bodied, fully dry Gewürz, but so fruity it almost tastes sweet. At its best now.
