Clear, deep plum-red. A nose reminiscent of Bordeaux, with cassis, raspberry and lots of oak and smoke from well-toasted barrels. Medium-bodied. Old-world structure with new-world fruit: raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant flavours. Will improve for another couple of years at least.
Shows fine Pinot varietal character with scents of red berry-fruit, earthy barnyard and mushroom aromas. Good depth of succulent red fruit on the palate with savoury overtones suggestive of Old-World style. Very good value.
Deep ruby colour; there is evident oak in the form of chocolate, coffee and spice which folds into the dark cherry and blackberry fruit. Ripe tannins and great length mean it should be consumed over the next 5 to 7 years.
This pink fizz blends the power of Bolly with the generous fruit of rosé, resulting in a savoury, serious Champagne. Creamy and expansive on the full palate, with pink florals, light cherry, bright juicy strawberry and fine persistent bead of acidity through the finish. Powerful, with partial oak ferment and ample time on the lees to up the mouthfeel and presence. 62/24/14 Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier plus 5 to 6% still red wine (Pinot Noir) is at least 85% Grand Cru and Premier Cru fruit.
Clear medium-deep garnet. Medium nose of cassis, dates and chocolate, with a light coat of varnish. Medium-bodied, soft and easy-drinking with lots of dark berry fruit. Already too old and soft for a steak, try it soon with roast beef.
Fruit sourced from the winery’s Osoyoos vineyard, hand harvested and barrel fermented in French and American oak, aged 20 months. Generous dark berry fruits and smoky notes on the nose precede a plush entry with well-integrated tannins, boysenberry, damson and blackcurrant through a lengthy end.
This organic offering shows a range of blackberries, cherries, currants and spice on the nose. It’s a substantive wine on the nose with a thick broth of plums, cassis and currants with spicy wood nuances through the finish.
