Day-Glo yellow in colour, this massively oak specimen is not for all tastes but its slightly reductive nose of peach and spicy oak is reminiscent of a fine Corton-Charlemagne. Full-bodied and richly extracted flavours of ripe peach and toasty oak fill the palate and linger for a long time.
Bold yet elegant blend of Malbec (75%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Syrah (5%) and Tannat (5%), with bright, juicy fruit, liquorice, nice balance and intensity. Firm underlying tannin and a wonderful approachability.
This wine delivers above its pay grade. Blackberry, plum, cherry, spice, chocolate and mint are layered on a concentrated mid-palate. It is rich, smooth and finishes with excellent fruit. Ready to drink.
A useful house wine. Deep purple-ruby colour with a cedary, blackberry, dark-chocolate nose; medium- to full-bodied, dry, smoky, savoury flavours of blackberries and blackcurrants with a vanilla oak note. Great value — a hamburger wine par excellence.
Medium ruby. Inviting nose of vanilla and red cherry, a hint of spice. Well-balanced, light-to-medium body with a nice fruity core, the smooth tannins bring firmness to the medium-length finish. Quite pleasant on its own or with simple red-meat dishes.
A real steal in this price range, showing lively fresh floral, stone fruit and tropical fruit character, appetizingly crisp acidity, a touch of mineral grip and elegant, satisfying finish. It works equally well as an apéritif or to match with a variety of seafoods and white meat dishes.
In the Maori language, HãHã means savoury and luscious. And that pretty much sums it up. Bright straw in colour, it offers a grassy, grapefruit and apple nose with a mineral note; medium-bodied and crisply dry, flavours of gooseberries and green beans carried on zesty acidity fill the palate.
