Great bang for the buck from Greece’s southernmost island! This 50/50 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and indigenous Vilana is delicate yet flavourful with apple, melon, peach, white flower and nougat aromas. On the palate, crisp acidity, fine length and minerality complete the package. Drink with hors d’oeuvres such as fried shrimp/kalamari or mild cheeses.
Clear pale coppery-pink. Faint nose of strawberry and grenadine. Medium-bodied with more strawberry and cranberry flavours than the nose promises. Drink up.
From a warm year comes this top-notch Riesling full of sweet peach, ripe apricot, lime, smoky minerals and white flowers. The bright acidity acts as a counterpoint to the residual sugar, creating a dry personality that is long-lasting. Finishes with an apple note.
Frothy, expansive mousse sets the stage for this dry, racy and intense Crémant, full of salted crisps, delicate white florals, light orange, red apple and lemon pith to a shearing palate. A blend of 90/10 Pinot Blanc/Pinot Auxerrois, this equates to a bone-dry fizz, ideal for canapés.
Pale yellow. Citrus, a touch of exotic fruits and a hint of white flowers. Light, very fresh taste thanks to its excellent acidity, some carbonic gas and elevated finish (bitterness). At only 10.5% alcohol, it is perfect to wash down hors-d’oeuvres or white fish. Drink now.
Deep golden colour with a toasty, spicy nose of peaches lifted by a light floral note; full-bodied, dry, richly extracted peach and lemon flavours. Well-balanced with a lovely mouthfeel.
The smoky nose shows an eclectic range of leather and charcuterie, then opens up to thick and rich dark fruits, black peppercorns, vanilla and savoury spices. This is serious Syrah on the palate: dark, dense and concentrated with a silky feel. An array of fruit flavours — cassis, currants and plums — followed by tobacco, leather, grilled meats and pepper, all carried on a bed of fine tannins.
