From the winery’s original certified organic vineyard, 25% aged 2 months in American oak to produce just the right balance of creamy texture and structure without detracting from fresh fruit flavours of orchard fuit, apple and pear with a hint of citrus.
Champagne at its finest. Great balance between the delicate flavours and the vinosity. Still very fresh and elegant after 15 years; there is an impression of perfect integration of every dimension. Great length too. A real pleasure to drink. Made from 95% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, all from Grands Crus vineyards.
Lively full-scented spicy plum with a pinch of herb make way for dark plum and cherry flavours with peppery spice and lively acidity. A full-flavoured, easy to like wine and fine value for money. Pair with spicy red meats, grills, burgers and the like.
Pale yellow. Delicate, minerally nose with fine citrus notes. Sharp and fresh, the cutting acidity leads to a full, round and bone-dry mid-palate, followed by a fruity finish. Ready to drink; it can wait a year or two.
At a period when there are a dearth of traditional English IPAs being produced, the fuggle and golding hop character is reassuringly like a late summer hedgerow, with herbal and citric flourishes in the aroma and on the palate. In combination with fruity, nutty malts, it is a fine reminder of the inspiration for the modern craft boom.
Very pale straw in colour with a minerally, seedy nose (over pressed?); dry, apple and peach flavours with a touch of browning apple (oxidation) on the finish. Don’t confuse this with the Fallers of Domaine Weinbach.
Warmly ripe dark berry scents with a lightly gamey, earthy overtone lead the way for rounded ripe fruit backed by moderate tannins on the palate. Well balanced, with a splash of dark chocolate and earthy mineral on the finish. New World fruitiness with Old World earthiness.
