From a fine craft brewery in Brossard, Quebec, this is an interesting interpretation of the German wheat-beer style, showing yeasty, malty citrus and banana character with a softly creamy body, gentle carbonation and a very bitter nutty dry but heartwarming finish.
Deep old gold colour, intense peach and honey nose with a botrytis note, medium-to-full-bodied with great balance of sweet peachy-orange fruit with lively citrus acidity.
Shows light amber in the glass, with creamy persistent head and lightly aromatic herbal hoppy and malty aromas. Fruity, malty and dusty dry hoppy flavours are nicely balanced, finishing with long herbal bitterness.
Attractive orange-rose colour, persistent tiny bubbles and lively textured mousse. Bright red fruits — currants, cherries, plums — abound from its fresh nose to zesty, off-dry palate. Embrace that signature Nova Scotia minerality. Blend of Maréchal Foch (50%), Pinot Noir (20%), L’Acadie (20%), Vidal (8%) and Seyval (2%). Fine choice for the holidays.
Shows developed dark berry-fruit with soft spice on the nose; smoky black fruit with dry tannic grip and balanced acidity, finishing quite dry.
This is Bachelder’s “regular” cuvée and it falls in line with Bachelder’s style, nothing out of order, a deft touch with oak and always a thought-provoking, complex wine. Look for plenty of minerality, apple and pear fruit with a touch of lemon and spice. It’s well rounded on the palate with juicy fruits and toasted spice notes but retains its poise and gracefulness through the long finish.
Floral and sage aromas, followed by a luscious but still structured palate with lingering stony notes and a touch of fresh dill in the finish.
