Clear medium-deep lemon-peel yellow. Fairly powerful nose of peaches and citrus, especially lemon. On the palate it presents rich peach and orange flavours, well-balanced with acidity. Crowd-pleasing party wine. At its best now.
So juicy and fresh with bright acidity, red and black fruit flavours and silky-smooth tannins, this is such a great wine to match with seafood off the grill with a slight char and smoky character.
Very Côte de Beaune with all of its strawberry, cherry, iron, red flowers, spice and cocoa flavours. There is considerable refinement, with fresh acidity and soft tannins rounding out this medium-bodied wine. Ready to drink.
This delicious Pinot is deep ruby in colour with a smoky, spicy, toasty nose of black cherries and a funky note. It’s medium-bodied, dry and fruity, well structured with ripe tannins and a lively spine of acidity. Serve it with duck breast or grilled salmon (yes, it works with salmon).
Gold-medal winner at this year’s Ontario Wine Awards, this wine packs a lot of punch for the price. Mid-weight, the fruit and work in tandem to produce a profile of pear, apple, citrus, cream, spice and honey. It lingers with a crisp edge, making for a beautiful partner with salmon or halibut.
The “White Wine of the Year” at the 2011 Ontario Wine Awards. Straw-coloured, with a hint of lime; on the nose, minerally, petrol and apricot aromas; off-dry and elegant with flavours of grapefruit, honey and green apple. A testament to Ontario Riesling.
Sustainably farmed according to organic practices (not certified). From 25-year-old vines on a south west facing slope of alluvial and glacial deposits. Lifted notes of rose petal precede fruit and acidity perfectly in balance with a pleasing touch of viscosity through a ginger- and spice-toned close.
