Delicate cranberry colour, with red berry and cranberry flavours against very dry but lightly creamy background texture. A stylish drop closely resembling similar very dry rosés from the Loire Valley.
True to label, this is a narrow and dry Riesling, lemon-driven with green apple and stone support. Tight, fresh and crisp, leesy interest cushions this racy fruit and plumps up the body. The acidity gobbles up the 7.3 g/l of residual sugar greedily, leaving this lean and tight and best suited to oysters or spot prawns.
Brown colour with a dark orange rim. On the nose, you get toffee, soft spicy notes, sweet malt. Medium body with a rich taste and a creamy texture. Very soft and no bitterness in the finish.
Showing some pleasing development on the nose, with mineral and petrol notes followed by a juicy entry of citrus above a stony background on a generous, mouth-filling palate.
Sangiovese with a slash of Cabernet Sauvignon. Dense purple-black in colour with a floral, cedar and ripe black cherry bouquet; medium-bodied and elegant. Firmly structured with blueberry and coffee bean flavours.
Reddish brown in colour with soft, fruity malt aromas and quite rich dried fruit flavours, backed by toasted chocolate malt giving dark chocolate character to the finish. A concentrated, full-flavoured brew.
Generous dark cherry, plum and spicy scents pave the way for good varietal bitter dark-cherry flavours with dry but approachable tannins and appetizing acidity. Barbera as it should be.
