Attractively scented red fruit with peppery spice lead the way for ripe berry flavours, a splash of vanilla and enough peppery and savoury bite to provide food-friendly balance.
Pale straw in colour with a lime tint; honey and grapefruit on the nose. Off-dry, sweet grapefruit and lime flavours; light on the palate and easy-drinking.
One of few BC Gris that sees skin contact; medium salmon colour. Sourced from vineyards on the estate, Oyama and in East Kelowna. Inviting aromas of red fruit, rhubarb and honey precede a luscious, off-dry but refreshing palate of strawberry and tropical notes before a full, juicy finish.
This is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, with 50% of the grapes dried appassimento style for two months. A big, heady nose of figs, black currants, kirsch, leather, blackberries, mature red fruits and a range of barrel oak spices. It has incredible depth of fruit on the palate, from dark cassis and currants to fortified cherry/raspberry notes with added espresso bean, spice, anise, a mélange of integrated herbs, smooth tannins and a long, long finish.
Medium-deep yellow. Medium nose with oak forward followed by bread dough, apple and banana. Dry, and refined, a lady in a Chanel gown with, thankfully, less busty oak on the palate than the nose foreshadows. Peach and apple flavours lead to a long finish. Drink now.
Ever reliable, this great-value wine has evolved into a lighter, pure fruit style offering fresh lemon citrus and tropical fruit freshness with deftly balanced acidity and a light, clean finish. Equally good as an aperitif or paired with lighter seafood and white meat dishes.
Winemaker Sandra Oldfield nailed it with this Okanagan Gris — it is the best she’s made. A gorgeous nose of pear, melon, subtle apple and juicy tropical fruits that have fresh appeal in the glass. It’s made with partial malo to give the Gris a little textural excitement on the palate, but the Bosc pear and peach fruit still have verve on through the finish. Very pure and delicious. Great job here.
