Dark ruby, purplish rim. Spicy nose of cinnamon, ripe red fruits, a hint of anise. Soft attack, supple and generous fruit. Velvety middle palate, long finish. Great to drink now and good for 5 to 7 years in the cellar.
A blend of 70% Cabernet Franc, 20% Grolleau and 10% Pineau d’Aunis. Star-bright clear. Subtle, elegant, wet stone bouquet. The 10 g/l residual sugar results in off-dry sweetness. It has a rich texture, fruity mid-palate and mineral finish.
Floral, citrus and petrol aromas, shifting to more stone fruit on the palate, with fine peach flavours. Refreshing but not overbearing acidity and a zesty tingle on the tongue. Very good value.
The perfumed aromatics mesmerize and fruity palate explodes with sparks of peach, floral, white pepper and unbridled grapeyness. After an off-dry, honey-licked start, the citrusy mid-palate features light-footed richness, while the tingly salty-tang finish lingers. And at only 11.5% alcohol, it rewards with ample sensory-pleasing sips.
Hand-picked from small lots in the Organic Estate vineyard, this pale straw coloured wine offers aromatic intensity with floral and bright lemon citrus scents leading the way for crisp Riesling varietal lemon citrus flavour, lean stony mineral, focused acidity and a pure, crisp finish.
