Pretty raspberry, wild strawberry and mineral on the nose with medium body and super-silky palate with a fresh and balanced minerally finish. Elegant and versatile. A great match with game birds and pork.
This mouth-filling rosé, named for the matriarch of the Bosc family, is an all-year-round pink wine. Made from Pinot Noir, it's deep pink in colour with a spicy nose of red plums and strawberries. It's medium-bodied, just off-dry with a ripe red-apple flavour. Great with charcuterie.
Delightful off-dry aperitif wine. Straw colour with a spicy, aromatic orange-blossom nose; sweet and grapey — like biting into a Muscat grape straight from the fridge. Nicely balanced, fresh and lively in the mouth. Clean and true to the variety.
Bright straw in colour with a grassy, lightly floral nose of green plum and gooseberry; medium-bodied, crisply dry, green plum flavour with mouth-freshening acidity.
Perfumed ripe berry fruit with a touch of cinnamon and clove evolves on the palate to blackberry and black cherry flavours with firm tannins, dark chocolate and still somewhat assertive acidity.
A balanced approach to savvy here with a nose of grapefruit, citrus, gooseberry and tropical fruits with hints of grass and herbs. There is a savoury note on the palate to go with tropical fruits, herbs and fresh-cut citrus with tingling acidity on the finish.
From the good folks at Colio Winery comes this solid Franc with an enormous bouquet of smoky tobacco, raspberry, cassis, blackberry, herbs and black pepper notes. Splendid length and suave tannins bode well for 5 years of cellaring.
