A good portion of the grapes for this wine were sourced from the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune. The toast, vanilla, white flowers, green apple and cream on the nose meshes with cinnamon and anise on the taste buds. There is very good length as well as a tangy aftertaste. Drink over the next 3 years.
Deep garnet with a pinkish tinge. Attractive medium-intensity nose, smells like a rum and raisin chocolate bar. Medium-bodied with crisp sour black cherry fruit and the classic Montepulciano bitter almond finish. An Italian vintner would be proud of this wine. Will improve for another year or so.
An exemplary rosé from a region that specializes in it. Very pale pink in colour, it shows an inviting fruity nose, a cocktail of small berries. Beautiful on the palate; light, balanced, fresh and fruity; simply delicious. Good persistence to match. Always a good choice and especially successful in 2015.
Dark colour. Enticing nose, very fruity with a floral touch. Supple and full on the palate, oak is not yet fully integrated. Finish is a little tannic at this point. This one needs time, so it’s better to wait at least 5 to 6 years.
Bright golden honey colour revealing floral blossom, ripe apple and honeyed scents. Sweet, honeyed apple flavours on the palate are tempered by a warming sensation imparted by the 8% blend of Ironworks Bluenose Rum in the mix.
Pale yellow with grey reflections. Rich nose of quince, pear, beeswax and honey with dry stone notes. Balanced acidity, rich texture and almost thick. Intense, fresh fruity taste fills the mouth in a beautiful way. Long, full finish. Already great, it will last up to 10 years.
This “Trio” of grapes creates a harmonious, attractively balanced blend showing lively citrus, tropical fruit and stony mineral notes, finishing with agreeably refreshing acidity. Very pleasant as an aperitif or will pair flexibly with seafood and other lighter dishes.
