Such a beautiful nose of fresh crushed cherries, rhubarb, raspberry, bramble, minerals and perfectly harmonic spice notes. It has bright and penetrating red fruits and wood spice on the palate and shows depth, complexity and concentration through the finish, yet maintains freshness to the end. You can cellar this lovely Pinot for 3+ years.
Tasted both in Burgundy and here at home with the same score. The warm vintage has produced a wine with a sumptuous texture and flavours of peach, sweet apple, lemon, white flowers and minerals. The finale is crisp and clean. Drink now.
Pale yellow. Very expressive nose, perfumed with flowery notes and racy minerality. Oak is revealed through toasted bread notes, less obtrusive than the usual vanilla or buttery notes found in oaked white wines. Powerful in its own way on the palate, with assertive acidity, complex taste and a lengthy finish. Keep 10 years.
Light ruby. Red fruits (cherry, raspberry), earthy notes of mushroom and hints of fruit stones. Light to medium body. Nice fruity taste, tight core of very fine tannins. Balanced finish. Ready to enjoy now and over a few more years.
Rich and beautiful aromas of ripe plum, dried fig and red berries. Full-bodied, with rich, silky tannins and plenty of fruit that turns to liquorice and black cherry with a complex, flavourful finish. Richer than most producers’ Amarones.
Cherry red. Small red fruits, a touch of spice and fruit stones. Light but flavourful; good acidity, clean taste and a balanced finish. Nothing complex, but nice and enjoyable right now on a salmon steak or grilled poultry.
Fresh floral and yellow fruit scents lead the way for delicate lemon citrus, melon and tropical fruit, supported by firm mineral and lively acidity. Medium-length finish.
