Great varietal character here; one of the best Gewürz from Ontario I’ve tasted; medium straw colour with a nose of lychee and rose petals; off-dry, floral and spicy.
A delicious mouthful of tasty juice showing raspberry and cherry with spice and mineral. Great balance and freshness, ready to drink, with good length and hints of liquorice on the juicy finish.
This mouth-filling rosé, named for the matriarch of the Bosc family, is an all-year-round pink wine. Made from Pinot Noir, it's deep pink in colour with a spicy nose of red plums and strawberries. It's medium-bodied, just off-dry with a ripe red-apple flavour. Great with charcuterie.
Boutari has it done it again, delivering a bang-for-the-buck Moschiofilero for the masses. A perfume of banana, lemon, white peach, honey, melon, jasmine and hints of ginger leads to a light yet lengthy palate full of refreshing acidity. At 11% alcohol it will go down easy all by itself, or even better with sushi.
Abundant red berries, chocolate, mocha and vanilla gush forth. But sharp acidity, astringent tannins and medicinal notes need some taming, so decant to aerate the wine. Suited for grilled fare.
Clear pale yellow. Somewhat reticent nose, but with good unoaked Chard typicity; citrus and banana aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied, well balanced and crisp, stuffed with pear, apricot and lemon-lime flavours. Tremendous value.
Lifted bright cherry, strawberry and citrus followed by a fruit-driven, vibrant and off-dry fruity entry with cranberry and cherry through a generous palate with good mouthfeel and a fruity finish.
