Made from Chardonnay. Pale yellow with a myriad of tiny bubbles, more effervescence than sparkle. Fairly strong nose of yeast, apples and cultured butter. Light-bodied, slightly sweet, tasting of McIntosh apples with a squeeze of lemon. A “feminine” wine, great as an apéritif.
Loads of violets on the nose with bright, juicy red fruit, firm, fruit coated tannins, mouth-watering acidity, well balanced and lingering. Delicious and a great match with game birds, grilled meats and pasta with meat ragu and freshly shaved truffles.
Pale yellow with grey reflections. Pear, honey and limestone notes are perceptible in the somewhat shy nose. Ripe fruity taste, intensified by the fine acidity. Mid-palate is fat, full and rich, leading to an intense finish. Built to last; wait 6‒8 years and enjoy over the following decade.
A Rhône blend of 45% Grenache, 45% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre from 60- to 90-year-old vines. A nose of kirsch, raspberry, cherry, plum, earth and a nice chocolate note. This is juicy stuff in the mouth with dark, rich fruits, licorice, earth, tar and fine tannins. A nice treat for lovers of this rustic yet pleasing style.
Pale yellow. Citrus notes, chalky minerality. Lively on the palate, nice, round fatty texture of good volume and very good length. A rather fruity Chablis, easy to drink right now.
Deep amber in colour with a raisin, tea leaf, honey and dried apricot nose. Full-bodied, unctuous, very sweet, candied orange marmalade flavours. Well-balanced and a great length.
Pale yellow. Very expressive nose, perfumed with flowery notes and racy minerality. Oak is revealed through toasted bread notes, less obtrusive than the usual vanilla or buttery notes found in oaked white wines. Powerful in its own way on the palate, with assertive acidity, complex taste and a lengthy finish. Keep 10 years.
