A good portion of the grapes for this wine were sourced from the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune. The toast, vanilla, white flowers, green apple and cream on the nose meshes with cinnamon and anise on the taste buds. There is very good length as well as a tangy aftertaste. Drink over the next 3 years.
Clear, medium-deep yellow. Reticent nose of Sauternes rot, honey and rhubarb. Full-bodied, viscous and luscious with peach, apricot and honey flavours on a long finish. Perhaps a bit low on acidity. Will last a long time.
A unique field blend of Albariño and Verdejo, the only one of its kind in Canada, sports appealing, lifted apple and pear with citrus hints, followed by subtle zesty stone fruit and mineral notes. Some stony overtones buoyed by good acidity through a refreshing close.
Pale straw in colour with lightly floral nose of grapefruit; light to medium-bodied, crisply dry with green peach and lime flavours and a hint of spice. Long fresh finish.
Deep ruby. Light nose of earth, blackberries, alcohol. Generous ripe fruity taste, it feels warm on the tongue. The barely rough tannins can be felt in the finish of good length. Ready to drink.
Ruby purple. Red fruits dominate on the nose with a trace of reduction (an unpleasant odour that goes away after a while and not a defect). Full bodied, the tannins have a little astringent bite but the fruit is abundant. The finish is quite firm. Carafe it for 1 to 2 hours to drink it now, or wait up to 5 years.
Session-style IPAs clock in at between 4-5% ABVs, and are hugely popular because they pack in big, juicy hop flavour without the soaring ABVs. Welter Weight has beautiful aromas of peach, pineapple juice and some floral notes. It’s light golden, with a bright white foamy head and lots of delicate bubbles dancing in the glass. It drinks like a tropical fruit cup, with pineapple, pear and some juicy sweetness on the finish, and no residual bitterness.
