A well-priced Pinot with great character. Ruby-coloured with a spicy, cherry nose and a discrete oak aroma; medium-bodied, dry, elegant, black cherry and red plum flavours; lovely mouthfeel and a firm tannic finish.
Bright, fresh, floral aromas with traces of anise and candied almond. Zesty, with citrus/honeydew flavours and a mild hit of spice as it trails off.
Opening with scents of ripe red berries, red currant and a whiff of eucalyptus, with berry, currant and peppery spice flavours playing through in the mouth, this zesty, intriguing, terroir-driven wine is harmoniously balanced, culminating with a long agreeably tannic finish.
Deep ruby colour with a spicy-woodsy nose of black fruits; medium- to full-bodied, dry, with blackberry and plum flavours and a light floral note to give the wine interest. Ends on a chalky note.
Clear, pale silvery-yellow. Medium-intensity nose of gooseberry, nettles and lime. Light-bodied with more gooseberry and lime, and also grapefruit nuances. Drink up.
This blend of vineyards and grapes features predominantly blackcurranty Cab Sauv and jammy Shiraz, seasoned with peppery Cab Franc. Dark fruit and toast tease the nose, while bright red fruits pop on the medium-bodied palate. Lingers with anise and black pepper. Tasty with grilled sausages.
Not as profound as the '07, this edition is still a well built and flavourful Merlot. Mint, graphite, plums, cherries, raspberries, earth, spice and herbs reveal themselves on both the nose and palate. There is a long finish with enough structure to last 20 years.
