Bright lemon colour with a minerally, toasty, apple nose with a forest floor note. Medium-bodied, honeyed apple flavour with oak spice and lemony acidity. Well-balanced and nicely integrated oak, sweet apple finish.
Clean and lush with caramel, honey and citrus peel, and a touch of nuttiness and cocoa-covered butterscotch candies.
This is a Cabernet/Merlot blend that offers up rich and ripe red fruits, currants, aromatic wood spice, vanilla and earth on the nose. It is dense and layered with highly extracted dark berries, liquorice, clove/cinnamon spice and meaty fruits all built on a firm foundation. This is one fabulous red with decades of aging potential. Serve with barbecued ribs or roasted meats.
Sourced from their Blind Creek Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley. Fragrant aromas led by floral, plum and a bowl of berries. Red and black fruits abound on the soft, juicy palate. Finishes rich with cassis and cedar. A match for braised beef short ribs.
A blend of 60% Semillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc. 10% Muscadelle. Pale straw colour with a lime tint. This is the best Mouton Cadet Blanc I have tasted — grassy, green-fig nose; dry, light- to medium-bodied with tropical fruit notes. Very elegant and good value.
A blend of Corvina and Rondinella, the major grapes in Valpolicella and Amarone. Deep ruby colour with a cedary-spicy, plum and cherry nose. Medium-bodied, dry and fresh, with nicely integrated oak and lively acidity, offering flavours of sour cherry and red plum with a firm tannic finish.
Now this is something! Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, a riot of spices, cloves, woodsmoke and toasty vanilla-oak stylings. Quite structured on the palate; the red fruits are joined by touches of blueberry and bramble with mocha-vanilla spice all delivered on a firm tannic backbone. Could cellar for a few years to let everything come into harmony.
