Winemaker Dan Sullivan sources his fruit from the Fieldstone Vineyards planted by Dick Singer in 2002, the only commercial planting of this Rhône variety in Prince Edward County. The nose is earthy with savoury cherry fruit, white pepper, raspberry and rousing roasted meat and spice notes. It is lighter in colour than you’d expect, but surprisingly ripe in the mouth with lovely texture and a balanced attack of spice.
A white blend of Trebbiano Procanico and Grechetto. The nose shows pear, citrus, bruised apple and tropical fruits. It’s round and juicy on the palate with easygoing flavours of pear and apple.
Flagship blend of 52% Syrah, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon yields aromas of vibrant, lifted red and black fruits before a plush but elegant, spice-toned palate of black cherry, plum and cassis. Wrapped in well-rounded, approachable tannins, hints of pepper plus anise and clove before a lingering finish.
This is a full-throttle Chablis that has more power than your usual Chablis. Straw colour with a lovely apple blossom and ripe apple nose; richly extracted and mouth-filling, crisply dry with a firm finish.
The inviting nose is ripe and gives an impression of roundness. Smooth on the palate, nice ripe flavours, completely dry with a clean finish. Impeccable. Drink now.
Vinified with barrel fermentation, malolactic fermentation and lees stirring. The result is intense honey, lemon and vanilla aromas and a lush texture brimming with quince and pineapple flavour. The long finish is flecked with apple, citrus, pear and almond. This Chard loves bacon-graced dishes.
Made from a small block of 20-year-old Chardonnay vines on the Triggs’ family estate, this has a lovely flinty-mineral nose to go with pear, citrus and fine oak undertones. It’s clean and finessed on the palate with everything in balance from the ripe pear-apple fruit to the buttery toast and spice.
