Copper colour with a nose of pear, honey, chocolate, nuts and butterscotch followed by flavours of dark chocolate, cherries, apricots and toffee finishing with elegance and concentration.
An interesting and complex nose of gooseberry, grapefruit, pear and toasted vanilla spices from a majority of the fruit being barrel-fermented and aged in French oak. It’s generous, textured and flavourful on the palate with stone fruit and oaky-spicy notes. Try cellaring a couple of years.
A delicious mouthful of tasty juice showing raspberry and cherry with spice and mineral. Great balance and freshness, ready to drink, with good length and hints of liquorice on the juicy finish.
Hints of bruised apple and some mineral notes on the nose, before a slightly tart citrus and green apple palate with mineral hints, defined by brisk acidity and a zesty finish.
Black/purple, as any self-respecting Petite Sirah should be! Full-bodied and intense, there are masses of cassis, blackberries, dark cherry, cocoa, vanilla and liquorice. Tannins are present but rounded and the protracted finish augurs well for prime rib.
Clear medium-deep plum red. Reserved nose of raspberry jam, strawberry candy and violets. Light-bodied, tasting of raspberries and cranberries with high acidity and some bitter almond on the finish. Drink up.
Citrus, baked brioche and lightly floral on the nose with fresh and expressive bubbles, more citrus, fresh herbs, baked apple and pastry on the palate with nice depth and complexity, finishing with a lifted, mineral finish.
