This is made from 100% To Kalon fruit, 30–40% from old plantings. The nose is an intense mix of pear, citrus, guava, white flowers, minerals, passion fruit and lovely oak spices. It has weight and vibrancy in the mouth to go with succulent fruits and creamy spices through a long and glorious finish. Such a powerful white wine, yet maintains balance and freshness through a long finish.
Medium-deep plum red just turning to amber on the edge. Mature and interesting bouquet of elderflower, sour cherry, vanilla and spice. Soft tannins and flavours of blueberries, plums and raspberries make this light and fruity wine an easy-drinking summer crowd-pleaser. Drink up.
Juicy, quenching red currant, wild raspberry and dried strawberry bristles with acidity and potent, finely textured minerality in this old vine Brouilly, with vine age averaging 60 years. Tannins are taut and grippy/gritty through to the lingering cherry and dried floral finish. The frame is narrow but intense, stuffing all of hot 2015's 14.5% alcohol into a sleek frame.
