Pale yellow. Not as ripe as the 2009, the nose is more classic with nice citrus fruit. Vivid acidity; it feels elegant and round, very dry and balanced. Ready to drink.
Warning: This old-style Jura white is a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin and is completely unexpected if you’ve never tried this style before. The nose is quite sherry-like, with slightly oxidized and unique notes of citrus peel, roasted nuts and apple skin. It’s very dry, oily and unctuous on the palate with fresh grapefruit, green pistachio, fino sherry and ginger flavours. Try this unique wine with raclette, fondue or white meats.
Crisp Chablis style with green apple, lively acidity and focused minerality from start to finish. Well-balanced, elegant simplicity.
Made near Chassagne-Montrachet and shares many of the attributes. Polished light lemon-yellow, with flowery and apple aromas that open to pears in the glass. Full-bodied with citrus acidity and flavours of lemon and apple. Long finish. Needs more time.
Pale yellow. Great finesse in the sharp dried fruits (apple, pear) aromas with cutting minerality. Fat on the palate, open and full — even imposing — flavour. Racy acidity and lots of mineral taste. Excellent length. Still young, it can wait a few more years.
Pale lemon-yellow, with a Granny Smith–apple nose. This wine is a good ambassador for Loire Sauvignon Blanc: lots of apple and lemon flavours with bright acidity; can be quaffed, or sipped with appreciation. Classic with chèvre and herbed olives.
Medium-deep brass, like looking into the eye of a duck. Sophisticated nose of roses, lychee, a bit of celery and a hint of allspice. Full-bodied, unctuous, with flavours of tangerine and pears and even a sprinkle of coconut. Good now, but will last a long time.
