Half estate-grown old vines, with remaining fruit from southeast Kelowna. Pronounced grapefruit aromas with floral and tropical notes before a clean and fresh citrus-toned palate through a clean, quite dry finish.
From a southwest facing steep lakeside slope north of Okanagan Centre. Lifted notes of orchard and stone fruits followed by a juicy and fresh nectarine and quince-toned palate. A good balance of fruit and acidity through a lengthy finish.
A new collaboration between Meyer family members yields excellent value wines sourced from prime sites. Lifted aromas of orchard fruit and citrus followed by a crisp palate of pear and green apple, with a little extra body from judicious neutral oak.
Bright, light ruby in colour; honeyed strawberry with sweet rhubarb on the nose; medium-bodied, sweet strawberry puree flavour with notes of orange peel and balancing acidity; harmonious with a great mouthfeel and long finish.
Bright, old gold in colour with a spicy, vanilla, caramel and apple nose; light-bodied, creamy palate of honey, peaches and apple with a light effervescence. Well-balanced with refreshing acidity and good length.
Golden colour; spicy, honeyed mango nose with notes of dried apricot; medium-bodied, ripe mango, honey and lemon flavours; lovely mouthfeel and beautifully balanced with a long satisfying finish.
This is one of the best Vidal Icewines I’ve tasted from the 2017 vintage. Old gold in colour, it has a nose of mangoes and honey. It’s medium to full-bodied, rich and unctuous on the palate with honeyed tropical fruit flavours well-balanced with fresh, lemony acidity.
