Delightfully complex, elegant, rich and subtle, with a core of ripe, spicy currant, black cherry and plum that's pure and focused, supple and juicy, with an amazing finish that reverberates with flavour. Shows great balance, concentration and persistence. A decade old and still just a baby. Exceptional.
Light golden yellow. Citrus, melon, discreet chalk and petrol notes. Light and fruity, a tad sweet. Slightly metallic in the finish. Drink now.
A very satisfying bubbly at a great price. Deeply coloured, a note of cinnamon and fresh-baked bread on the nose, dry pear flavour with zesty citrus acidity and a mineral note.
I have always been impressed with the quality of this bottling, year in year out. The current vintage offers up a nose of vanilla, toast, honey, apple, fig and peach. In the mouth, there is a creamy texture and flavours of spice, apple, tropical fruit and fresh cream. The finale is lengthy.
Pale straw yellow in colour, this wine provides a subtle perfume of grapefruit, herbs and citrus. In the mouth, guava adds more depth. There is fresh acid and very good length.
Aromas of spice, wild berry, earth, mint and mineral with bold flavours of blackberries, blueberries and black currant with spice and vanilla and a dark fruit jamminess. A great match with roasted meats and ribs.
Ruby/garnet. Red fruits and green pepper on the rather shy nose. Firm and full in the mouth, its compact body shows a 5 to 7 years aging potential. Will improve and become more complex if you’re patient.
