A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Ruby-purple in colour, it offers a nose of black raspberries, cassis, and violets; it’s medium-to-full-bodied, well structured and elegant with a long finish. And it’s got a velvety mouthfeel. Great value.
Quintessential Alsace Gewürz. Straw colour with a lime tint, concentrated nose of lychees and rose petals, richly extracted exotic flavours of Turkish Delight. Finishes dry with good length.
Beaujolais is technically a part of Burgundy but there is an ongoing debate whether it should stay that way as it has a different character albeit similar soils. This fine cru exhibits a nose of raspberry and strawberry with a very discreet touch of oak. Soft and balanced, its crunchy, sappy fruit has medium body and firm tannins. Easy to drink and ready now, to be enjoyed with grilled red meat.
A gorgeous and complex nose of tropical, pear and citrus fruits with added vanilla toast and mineral. It shows lovely texture in the mouth with smoky fruits, hazelnuts and pure concentration that carries through the long finish. Try with trout, haddock, charcuterie or Camembert cheese.
Very fragrant nose, led by caramel and vanilla aromas. Lively acidity with ripe fruit and citrus flavours. Wet stone and mineral linger to a very long finish. Great balance of delicacy and power, with a structured mouthfeel, vibrant texture and expansive finish. Pair with turbot in cream sauce.
This is a thick, unctuous Pinot Gris with a nose of pure stone fruits, flowers, minerals and creamy vanilla. It gushes on the palate with peach, apricot, lemon curd, honey and lovely baking spices. A powerful Alsatian beauty. Would pair well with wild mushroom risotto.
Warmly ripe dark berry scents with a lightly gamey, earthy overtone lead the way for rounded ripe fruit backed by moderate tannins on the palate. Well balanced, with a splash of dark chocolate and earthy mineral on the finish. New World fruitiness with Old World earthiness.
