Light toast and fresh green-apple aromas lead to a fresh, fuller-bodied palate. White honey, meadow florals, ripe gooseberry, melon and anise-kissed medicinal notes are lifted with streaking white grapefruit acidity, binding and narrowing this richer wine. 35% has been fermented and rested in French oak, with the remainder in stainless, preserving the crisp orchard fruit. A nice balance, especially when paired with sablefish.
