5 Minute Mav: Steven Elphick
If there’s anything that Steven Elphick is known for it’s his intense passion for food and wine. It was that focus that led him to make food, landscape and beverage the subjects of his photography. Steven didn’t stop there, however. He went on to develop quite an accomplished taste for wine, so that by 1998, he had become a professional judge on the international wine stage. Steven’s photographs can be seen in many different publications, including Spectacular Wineries of Ontario, The Wine Atlas of Canada and The Global Encyclopedia of Wine. He has received the “Tidings Wine Journalist of the Year” award for 2013 at the Ontario Wine Awards, Applied Arts award in Photography for 2007, 2008 and 2013, and many others.
