The makers of Malibu coconut rum have created two new offerings — Malibu Fresh and Malibu Piña Colada. If a ready-made cocktail is your thing, then you might want to try this product and others like it. The recipe below, courtesy of Malibu, calls for the new Fresh product which is characterized by notes of fresh mint. There are so many new flavoured rums available now that there’s really no reason why you can’t substitute one flavour for another. Try this cocktail as is, or change it up to showcase your favourite flavour profile.

Malibu ReFRESH

1-1/2 oz Malibu Fresh
1/4 oz fresh lemon juice
Top with lemon-lime soda

Add all ingredients to a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with a lemon wheel.
