A discovery! Syrah loves granite soils, and the vines for this wine have plenty underneath them. The black/purple colour ushers in hickory, blueberry, plums, peppery, violets and coffee. In the mouth, it is the same, as well as having excellent length and a strong undercurrent of tannins. Drink it over the next 5 to 7 years.
