Errazuriz Kai Carmenère

By / Wine + Drinks / August 17th, 2010 / 1

Kai, in Mapuche (the language of the indigenous people of South America), means plant. By far, this was the best Carmenère that I tried on my visit to Chile last year. Full-bodied, concentrated and elegant the bouquet of smoke, blueberry, coffee, cherry and vanilla were complemented by the sweet berry fruit on the palate and a long cocoa finish. Drink it over the next 10 years.
