Canada Day Planner Day 6

By / Wine + Drinks / June 28th, 2013 / 3

We made it. Tomorrow heralds the beginning of the Canada Day long weekend. So far, I’ve compiled three great cocktails. (Have you tried any yet?) Two great dishes for your party. I considered giving you a dessert recipe today. But, I decided not to. Canada Day desserts usually consist of store- or bakery-bought Canada Day-themed cakes, pies or cupcakes. If you were hoping to see a dessert recipe here, you’re not going to be disappointed, just re-directed. Our Recipes section has plenty of dessert recipes to choose from. There are so many, it should keep you perusing for a while.

No, I thought instead I’d give you a punch recipe. You can never have too many punch recipes. Variety is key to a great party after all. With this one, you can opt to have alcohol or not. You can also pla with the quantities of ingredients to achieve the amount or the flavour you’re looking for.

Ultimately, Canada Day is all about taking it easy, having fun and getting the most out of weekend, or even just the day. What are your plans for this weekend? What manner of feast are you planning on? Finally, we here at Quench are hoping the evening ends in bright and happy fireworks for you. Play well and stay safe.
