Organic wine is produced from grapes grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. In addition, the use of sulphur dioxide (SO2) is not permitted during the winemaking process. In Canada, a wine labelled organic must comply with the Canadian Organic Regulations and must be certified by a Canadian Food Inspection Agency accredited certification body.

Review Summary:
Classic varietal aromas of intense violets, blueberry and red berries strike the nose. Fresh acidity and supple tannins balance well with the rich red- and black-berried fruit. Subtle vanilla, spicy nutmeg and lingering mineral unfurl on the finish. Serve with hearty red meat dishes.

A Bordeaux-style blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby colour with a complex nose of vanilla oak, cedar and blackcurrant with a floral note; medium-bodied, fruity and fresh with currant flavours backed by vanilla oak and finishing with soft tannins. Good value.
