Sagrantino typically needs long aging, and this one is no exception. Red currant, subtle cinnamon spice and a splash of vanilla on the nose lead the way for complex, massively concentrated currant and berry flavours, partially masked by unyielding tannic bite. All the right stuff is in place, but needs 4 to 5 years additional cellaring.
