The folks at this New Zealand winery’s PR department are calling this version of Kim Crawford SB “the vintage of a lifetime.” I’m not a huge fan of the hype machine, but I do agree that the 2013 Kim Crawford is a very nice wine. It has a pure and classic nose of passion fruit, lime, citrus and hints of grass and herbs. It’s fresh and vibrant on the palate with juicy citrus, pineapple and gushing lime against a vibrant backbone of racy acidity that’s all nicely balanced.
