The dense ruby-purple colour stains the glass — always a good sign if you like full-bodied, mouth-filling reds. The nose is a mix of raspberries, currants, spice and mint. It's juicy and fresh on the palate with an underpinning of vanilla oak. A wine for steak if ever there was one.
