The Icelandic Phallological Museum

www.phallus.is

Have you ever wondered what a whale’s … er… member… looks like? Well, you can find out at the world’s only phallic-centric museum. “The Icelandic Phallological Museum contains a collection of more than 215 penises and penile parts belonging to almost all the land and sea mammals that can be found in Iceland,” reads their website. While you could be giggling like a grade-school girl at the thought of the subject matter, this museum is quite educational and enlightening. It treats the subject with all due reverence… and a little bit of humour. That’s probably why it’s won several awards in travel and culture.

Open everyday year around from 10am until 6pm.

Reykjavík, Iceland
