L’Héritage Artois

Stella Artois released a limited-edition beer “brewed to savour life’s special moments.” Sebastien Artois, the original brewmaster for Artois Brewery, is the inspiration behind L’Héritage Artois, because he created unique recipes in small batches to celebrate the brewery’s milestones. This lager honours that tradition as a unique, limited-run beer to enjoy with friends and family over the holidays.

I had the opportunity to taste L’Héritage. It is refreshing and light, with playful bubbles that caress the tongue without being too powerful. The strong flavour had a sweet note that evoked thoughts of white fruit – apples, pears – and citrus. It ended with a zesty finish that lingers in the mouth. My husband and I enjoyed this with tacos. While the two paired well, I believe L’Héritage Artois would work best with a less spicy dish, like a holiday turkey meal.

L’Héritage Artois comes in a nice 750 ml bottle. It’ll be available until the first week of January.
