Apple iPhone 7

THEY REMOVED THE HEADPHONE JACK!

The world is apparently aghast about this change. Though it should be noted that Apple includes in the box a converter and compatible wired headphones, so the lack of jack isn’t the end of the world.

Ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, lets talk about the other things Apple did to improve the iPhone. The 7 features improved front and rear cameras with image stabilization – which means better photos, especially in low light. While the phone doesn’t look that different on the outside, the internal construction translates into better speakers, water resistance, more battery life, larger storage options and a faster processor (which really only helps people who play games and watch a lot of videos).

The home screen button is different now too. Instead of a depressible button, it’s a flat surface that you can press to unlock your phone, double-press in lock mode to activate Apple Pay and double-press when unlocked to activate multi-tasking mode.

Ultimately, the change from the iPhone 6 to the 7 isn’t that big. It’s more of a slight upgrade that leads up to their massive redesign, planned to celebrate their 10th anniversary (which is next year, by the way).
