Elegant, rich and subtle, with ripe, spicy currant, black cherry and plum flavours, great balance and concentration, supple and mouth-coating with an amazing finish that lingers with flavour. Great with roasted meats.
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Clear medium-deep blushing copper. Medium-intensity nose shouts of strawberries. Light-bodied and immediately appealing, tasting of strawberry candy. Too light for food, drink now as an apéritif.
Shows lively persistent mousse with gentle floral and green fruit scents accented by a splash of vanilla. Flavours of green apple dominate in the mouth, with background citrus supported by firm mineral and vibrant acidity. Lightly creamy texture contrasts with drying mineral on the finish.
This is a classic example of a Bavarian wheat beer. It’s amber-hued and cloudy with notes of banana, cloves and toasty bread. The mouthfeel is creamy thanks to the wheat with tingling carbonation. Pro tip: wheat beers are best imbibed with a huge fluffy white head. Pour the beer on a 45-degree angle down the side of a tall glass and then tilt the bottle straight down centre of the glass to tease up the foam. Leave some liquid in the bottle, then give it a swirl to rouse the yeast at the bottom and top up the brew.
This is a powerful and dense Napa Cab with boatloads of crème de cassis, dark cherry, violets, mint, graphite. The palate boasts sweet fruit and enough tannins to age 20 years. Top-notch juice!
Frothy, expansive mousse sets the stage for this dry, racy and intense Crémant, full of salted crisps, delicate white florals, light orange, red apple and lemon pith to a shearing palate. A blend of 90/10 Pinot Blanc/Pinot Auxerrois, this equates to a bone-dry fizz, ideal for canapés.
A typical Bordeaux Blanc blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle, opening with mellow citrus, delicately honeyed and spicy scents. Smoothly rounded on the palate, presenting citrus and orchard fruit with a touch of stony mineral and a deft trace of oak rounding out the finish.
