This is an amazing Cab Franc Icewine, especially for the price! Strawberry jam, guava paste, spice, cocoa, buckwheat honey and herbs are all layered on a viscous texture. Length is not an issue, as it carries on the taste buds. You can serve it with dessert or enjoy on its own.
Hand-harvested grapes from the Capestrano vineyard, then fermented using natural yeast and bottled unfiltered. Fruit peel and wilted flowers on the nose. Almond, peach and melon on the rich, round, medium-bodied palate. Delicious now but will also develop with a few years of cellaring.
This peach-coloured, hazy brew topped with a fluffy white head is perfect for hot summer days. A wheat/blueberry beer, the nose boasts dried blueberries and cherry cough drops. The first sip starts out mildly citrusy and acidic, moving to a sweet blueberry centre that lasts until the finish. Soft and creamy with bubbly carbonation, this is a great beer with light, fresh cheeses like chèvres.
Medium ruby colour. The slightly roasted nose has a nice finesse. Quite tight on the palate, the distinctive flavours are only slightly oaky. Finish is firm. Very good quality.
Pale gold, adequate effervescence (“satèn” means less CO2 and less pressure in the bottle). Inviting nose with delicate notes of white peach, butter, fresh mushrooms and chalk. Bone dry, the soft acidity is well balanced in the ascending mid-palate leading to a finish of very good length. Ready to drink.
Ruby-purplish. Red fruits, a little spice and garrigue; no oak. Medium-bodied, slightly coarse tannins. Almost balanced, only a bit heavy on alcohol. Nice finish.
Rich yellow colour. Ripe white fruits and toasted bread in a slightly oxidized style. Cutting acidity, quite dry; body is a little thin, but there is a richness of flavour and a very clean finish.
