The blend is nearly half Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a portion of the fruit dried in used tobacco kilns. It has a “wow” nose of deep, rich black currants, plums, cassis, anise, sweet tobacco and cocoa, punctuated by rich oak barrel spices. It is ripe and generous on the palate with the full spectrum of dark, ripe fruits, structured tannins, earth, dark chocolate and baking spices.
