An unusual blend of Petit Verdot, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Franc goes into Marchesi di San Giulano’s flagship wine. Though still somewhat closed, this is a wine of great depth and complexity. The distinctive House signature of deep, developed fruit overlaid with elegant spice is there on the nose, together with finely balanced red and dark fruit in the mouth. Give it another 3 to 5 years in the cellar.
