Clear, fading orangey garnet. Fairly robust nose of cherries and plums with a bit of Amaretto and anise, opening to some coffee and chocolate in the glass. Light-bodied for a Barolo, with sour cherry flavours. Acidity and alcohol are both prominent, but tannins are very soft. Not made in a style meant for long aging — drink up.
