100% barrel fermented, it has a good deal of oak on the fine nose, but it is not excessive. Fresh, grassy notes; flint. The racy acidity is quite perceptible even if malo was fully completed. Aging potential of up to 5 years. A somewhat unique product, especially coming from the (warm) North Island.
